"The Body of Europe", a lecture by Giorgio Agamben

On the occasion of Europe Day the Berggruen Institute Europe is pleased to open its doors to Giorgio’s Agamben public lecture “The Body of Europe”.

Giorgio Agamben’s lecture will inaugurate an annual research and production work on the Idea of Europe. Over the coming months, the Institute will host thinkers from across the continent to help reconstruct an ambitious vision for Europe and its role in a rapidly changing world.

The lecture will be preceded by a closed working seminar (“A geophilosophy for Europe”) with an initial small group of young European philosophers. The lecture will be held at Casa dei Tre Oci, Berggruen Institute Europe Headquarters on Thursday 9th of May at 6pm.
