Watts Black and Brown Event

The Neighborhood Council, Gangsters for Christ, and other organizations within Watts, used Sense LA as a way to bring together Hispanic and African American residents to envision new ways to build consensus and communication and envision a shared future and shared goals. This event marked the first time that the two groups came together to deeply discuss topics of mutual interest, including racism, economic opportunity, shared cosmologies, amongst others.
