Dominique Lestel

Philosopher; 2018-19 Berggruen Fellow at CASBS

Dominique Lestel is a Berggruen Fellow writing about “existential machines” and the interaction of humans and machines on an emotional level at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. He is an Associate Professor at the Ecole normale supérieure in Paris and holds a PhD from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. He is the author of many works including Eat that Book: A Carnivore’s Manifesto (Columbia University Press).
