Working across strategic communications, business consulting, and the development of new applications for established and evolving practices of design, Emily is interested in championing ambitious ideas, manifesting meaningful collaborative partnerships, and building teams, spaces, and contexts that enable radical change. A recovering marketing and advertising executive with over 15 years of experience, she has managed Fortune 500 clients, built small businesses, and led complex international social impact initiatives. Emily comes to the Antikythera team at the Berggruen Institute most recently from the UC San Diego Design Lab where she helped lead an interdisciplinary group of binational designers through the shortlist phase of the World Design Capital 2024 qualifying process, clinching the win for the region.
