Huw Price

Academic Director, Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, Cambridge University

Huw Price is Bertrand Russell Professor of Philosophy and a Fellow of Trinity College, University of Cambridge. He was previously the Director of the Centre for Time at the University of Sydney and author of Time’s Arrow and Archimedes’ Point. He became interested in existential risk after a chance encounter with Jaan Tallinn, and has written extensively to the public about such risks. His work is supported by the Templeton World Charity Foundation as part of the Managing Extreme Technological Risk project at CSER.
