Mary Klein is the Chief Financial Officer of Berggruen Holdings. Mary’s responsibilities include oversight for the accounting and tax functions as well as assistance in the implementation of strategies for portfolio companies. Previously, Mary was a partner at the Big 4 Accounting Firm of EY in New York City. During her tenure at EY, Mary served Fortune 500 and major private equity firms where she managed M&A due diligence projects involving complex deal structures. Mary also held leadership positions in three partner roles within the Transactions Advisory Services, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, and Quality and Risk management groups at EY. Mary received her MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Stern School of Business, and BA, Phi Beta Kappa, from USC. She is a CPA and member of the AICPA. Mary serves as an Advisory Director at Carnegie Hall.
