Patrick Langrell is Program Manager for the Berggruen Institute, serves as a liaison to its diverse network of thought leaders and manages the Institute’s database. He collaborates with executive leadership in designing programs, initiatives and events that engage internal and external experts and scholars. Patrick also spearheads the Institute’s outreach program to emerging leaders in Los Angeles and San Francisco and helps manage the annual Berggruen Prize Award process. He received his undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Philosophy at The University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) and has taught philosophy and ethics at UNDA and lectured at a number of universities and public forums in Australia and the US. Prior to working at the Berggruen Institute, Patrick has worked in a number of senior advisory and public policy roles with the Catholic Church in Los Angeles, New York, and Sydney, Australia.
